Lavender House is an alternative rock band straight out of Atlanta, Georgia — made up of Brett Ryder (vocals & guitar), JJ (drums), and Ryan (bass).

Teenagers in the 90’s but born in 2005, these three friends are young, loud, and have a willingness to sit with complicated feelings rather than smooth them over. Their original music is rooted in alt rock but refuses to stay in one lane — blending raw emotion, catchy hooks, and a style that’s entirely their own - pulling you in with energy that hits hard both live and while streaming. They bring a fresh, dynamic sound to the Atlanta music scene.

As Lavender House grew from it’s earliest iterations of a neighborhood jam session and evolved into a full band, the music took on new depth—dynamic builds, soaring choruses, and moments of restraint that let Ryder’s voice and lyrics remain front and center. This period marked a turning point, as Lavender House transitioned from a solo endeavor into a fully realized band with a shared creative vision.

Their live shows mixes their original kick ass music (check out Brett Ryder’s Spotify) with some hard hitting alt-rock covers that’ll have you jumping up and rocking out and headed to their upcoming gig page to find out when the next time they are playing out. You might want to check out their mosh pits- they are legendary! There’s a very good reason they have a loyal following! With killer riffs, rocker vibes, and a whole lot of soul, Lavender House doesn’t just play the house — they blow the roof off.
